Why Was the Sig P365XL Made?

The reputable Sig Sauer company makes the Sig P365XL. This model was created after the release of its brother, the Sig P365, which is smaller than the Sig P365XL’s overall size. The Sig P365XL was designed to offer the user an optic-ready sidearm on the same platform as the Sig P365. This means that the Sig P365XL has the same fire control unit as the Sig P365; however, the P365XL offers a more extended slide and larger grips to house a more prominent magazine.

There isn't much difference between the P365XL and the Sig P365. The overall size is $100 more than the Sig P365. The P365XL costs around $599; however, prices may change over time, while the Sig P365 costs $499. The Sig P365XL is a little longer than the Sig P365, making the cost more.
